San Francisco Improv Fest 2012

Messing With a Friend – Returning to the fest with another round of wickedly funny duo-prov, Chicago improv maven Susan Messing will rock the boards of The Eureka with special guest. Messing wowed crowds with her brilliantly twisted and brutally honest sold-out show last year & all we have to say is more, please!

Weirdass – This is another fantastic duo show of husband and wife team of Bob Dassie (Second City) and Stephnie Weir (MadTV). Weirdass has been a must-see show for over 10 years at festivals internationally and has been touted as an example of some of the best two-person improv around.

BATS Improv – featuring alums and current players, BATS Improv brings the best of its 25 years of existence to the SF Improv Festival, and we are exceedingly happy to have them!

Dr. God featuring Dave Holmes - following on their excellent pair of shows, the five players of Dr. God bring their fast-paced brand of funny, based off of audience suggestion and the stories of Dave Holmes (MTV, Reno 911! DVD on TV).

Ron West’s Game Island – Does three years make a tradition? It feels like it, havingWhose Line is it Anyway’s Ron West finish out the festival with his Game Island elimination show, featuring performers from throughout the festival.

It was an incredibly talented field of applicants we had to go through to put together 2012′s San Francisco Improv Festival. We definitely would have invited up several more teams if we had more days to program, but we think we put together a fantastic lineup in the end.
